The Scientific Committee invites authors to submit abstract describing either ongoing research projects or new research ideas that may be selected for oral presentation.

 

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Applicants should complete the online abstract registration form on the Congress website before Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 23:59. Your email address must be valid. Abstracts sent by fax, email, or mail, as well as those received after the submission deadline, will not be considered.

2. Review process: abstracts will be assessed anonymously, and the Scientific Committee will decide on the acceptability of each abstract.

3. Only ONE designated presenter can present an accepted abstract. Co-authors are welcome to attend the session, but are also required to register for the conference.

4. The abstracts selected by the Scientific Committee will be presented as oral presentation during the conference.

 

2. KEY DATES

•    Abstract submission opens: April 10, 2026
•    Abstract submission deadline: June 7, 2026
•    Abstract evaluation: mid-June 2026
•    Author notification: beginning of July 2026

The Scientific Committee will conduct a blind review of each abstract to assess its relevance to the conference.

 

3. SUBMITTER ACCOUNT CREATION

  • Applicants should create a submitter account. Please click here. Please ensure that your email address is valid as we will use it to contact you.

  • Once your account is created, a username and password will be sent to you by email. We invite you to keep them handy.

  • You can submit a new abstract or modify it as long as it has been saved but not yet submitted by entering your username and password on the ‘abstract submission page’.

 

4. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

  • All abstracts must be submitted in English with accurate grammar and spelling.
  • Maximum word count: 300 (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).
  • Pictures or graphics are accepted.


THEMES OF PRESENTATION

You have to select a main theme

  • Ablation of atrial fibrillation
  • Ablation of ventricular arrhythmias
  • Ablation (other)

TITLE

An abstract must have a short, specific title (containing no abbreviations or inflammatory language) that indicates the nature of the investigation. It should be written in sentence case.


AUTHORS

•    The number of co-authors is limited to 15.
•    The affiliations of the co-authors should contain the following: unit or section, department, name of the organisation, city, and country.

 

CONTENT

Please remain anonymous in the content of your abstract. Do not include any indication of geographical origin or author identity. You can replace them with XXX.

Please fill out the following sections:
a. Introduction/aim: description of the objective of the research
b. Methods: description of the methods used
c. Results: findings of the study
d. Conclusion: a brief conclusion


A draft mode is available, allowing you to edit your abstract prior to submission. Proofread abstracts carefully to avoid errors before submission. Once you submit your abstract on the platform, it is considered final and cannot be edited further.

 

ABSTRACT ACCEPTANCE

•    Abstract acceptance/non-acceptance status will be available by the beginning of July. Please ensure that the email address provided for the presenting author is accurate, as all correspondence will be sent to the presenting author only via email.
•    All communications regarding your abstract will be sent from iscat@overcome.fr. Please make sure to add this email address to your email contacts to ensure important information related to the programme and participants gets through your spam filters, etc.
•    Guidelines for abstract presentation will be included in the acceptance communication.
