 General guidelines

Conditions

  • Abstract submission implies that the primary author has the consent of all authors and has obtained necessary institutional clearances.
  • Research results and/or conclusions must be completed at the time of submission.

Important

A draft mode allows you to edit your abstract prior to submission. Please note, once your abstract has been submitted, no further amendments will be possible. We suggest you save the abstract as a draft until you are ready to submit. We advise you to proofread your work carefully before submitting it. Any abstract with significant typographical or grammatical errors, particularly in the title, may be deemed ineligible.

Abstract Submission

All submissions must be made electronically. No hard copies will be accepted. Please read the following instructions carefully before clicking on the links to begin an abstract submission. Abstracts that do not comply with these instructions will not be reviewed.

  • The abstract must be submitted during the call for papers period. Abstracts will not be accepted after the deadline.
  • Submitter should be one of the co-authors of the abstract.
  • Submitter should create an account before submitting the abstract.
  • Complete and submit all required fields in the online form.
  • Be sure that your abstracts have been switched from "draft" to "submit" before the call for papers closes.
  • Authors will be notified by Friday, August 25, 2017.

Abstract Format and Content

Abstracts are brief summaries of the overall goal a study and the specific ideas or concepts that will be presented, including outcomes and implications for practice.

  • Please limit abstracts to 500 words, i.e. one page.
  • Include maximum 4 images with your abstract. One image will be equivalent to 50 words. Images will be placed at the end of the abstract. Please refer to them accordingly in the text.
  • Create tables with your submission directly in the online form because some tables can be misread by the software.
  • References are optional but encouraged. Please limit references to the 5 most pertinent citations. References are not included in the 500-word limit.
